Hi! I’m Tsubasa, a self-taught food photographer based in Toronto. I was born in the small prefecture of Kagawa, Japan, and grew up surrounded by all kinds of food. My father is a washoku chef, which exposed me to the art of cuisine from a young age.

I believe that each ingredient, seasoning, and presentation has its own meaning, and that even the smallest details have an impact on the final presentation of a dish. My goal is to convey the restaurant’s vision through a luxurious, refined image.
